Operator and website identity

HealthIT is the verified legal business and Cash Care Exchange is its DBA for this service. healthit.com remains HealthIT's corporate website and is not a CashCare marketplace address. The CashCare service uses cashcareexchange.com for consumers and the public and cashcareaccess.com for providers and businesses.

Directory scope

CashCare displays public-source or provider-attested information about cash-pay healthcare services in the Dallas-Fort Worth pilot market. It is a directory and advertising marketplace—not a healthcare provider, insurer, patient portal, appointment service, medical record, or consumer payment processor.

No medical advice or emergency service

CashCare does not diagnose, recommend treatment, determine whether a service is appropriate, or create a patient-provider relationship. Contact a qualified professional for medical decisions. Do not use CashCare for emergencies; call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

Prices, availability, and provider responsibility

A displayed cash price is informational and subject to its stated scope, source, verification date, validity period, inclusions, exclusions, referral requirements, and provider confirmation. A provider may change price or availability after publication. Confirm the final price, eligibility, preparation, scheduling, and payment terms directly with the provider before receiving a service.

Providers—not CashCare or HealthIT—are responsible for clinical care, scheduling, billing, refunds for healthcare services, professional qualifications, and the accuracy of information they supply. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement or guarantee of quality, availability, or outcomes.

A directory price is not a Good Faith Estimate, bill, quote, or guarantee. When a Good Faith Estimate is available or required, request it directly from the provider or facility before scheduling or receiving care.

Provider and business submissions

A person submitting provider-business or price information represents that they are authorized by the identified organization to submit the facts, that the facts and contact path are accurate and current, and that CashCare may review them for possible public display. Submission, mailbox confirmation, or application receipt does not publish a listing, establish provider authority, verify licensure, or guarantee acceptance.

Providers must promptly report a material price, availability, scope, ownership, licensure, or contact change. CashCare may quarantine, correct, suspend, or remove a listing while authority, accuracy, freshness, or a complaint is reviewed.

Verification labels and result ordering

CashCare verification labels describe directory evidence—such as source, organization control, price scope, and freshness. They do not certify licensure, medical necessity, clinical quality, outcomes, insurance coverage, provider superiority, or fitness for a particular person.

Default result order may use structured listing completeness, price-scope clarity, source freshness, consumer-selected filters, and price. It is not a clinical recommendation or quality ranking. CashCare has no sponsored or pay-for-position placement during free Beta Testing.

Non-PHI use

Do not submit patient-specific clinical or insurance information. You may use the site only for lawful directory, comparison, provider-business, listing-correction, and platform-support purposes consistent with the Privacy notice.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service, evade controls, scrape it at disruptive volume, impersonate another person or business, submit false listings, introduce malicious code, or use the service unlawfully.

Third-party services and availability

Provider websites, telephone lines, maps, and other external services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. CashCare may change, suspend, or remove features or listings to preserve accuracy, security, or pilot operations.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The directory is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, HealthIT disclaims implied warranties concerning directory completeness, uninterrupted availability, or error-free third-party information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, HealthIT is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on directory information or third-party services. HealthIT remains responsible for obligations that applicable law does not permit it to disclaim.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Texas law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections. Report listing errors, complaints, or questions through the CashCare customer-service page or email customerservice@healthit.com. Do not include PHI.
